Group formed in Brighton bringing out some goodness to our ears! Although their stuff is "evolving" and sounding pretty different from their earlier stuff, this song is super awesome and gives me a nice summer feel!! The song is called "Feel To Follow" and is taken from their 2012 album, Given To The Wild. Enjoy!

Kickback Of The Week - Bic Runga
Now this week's kickback is definately taking it back a little! Well... It's taking it back to 1997. The song is called "Sway" and it's from New Zealander, Bic Runga. Sway was one of my favourite songs I had on repeat (several times) when I was a wee pup. It's been a while since I've heard it so it's a nice throw back! Enjoy!

Music Of The Week - Michael Kiwanuka
The amazing MOTW is from British music artist, Michael Kiwanuka. He was the winner of BBC's Sound of 2012, and supported Adele on her 2011 tour. Such a hard life! He has a really soothing gorgeous voice; wonderful for such a sunny (albeit, chilly) sunday. The song is "I'm Getting Ready" from his Home Again album which will be released in March 2012.
Kickback Of The Week - Tori Amos
This week's kickback is from the super amazing and super talented American performer, Tori Amos. And the song is "A Sorta Fairytale" which is also an all time favourite of mine. The video is a fantasy bizarre loveliness; made even lovelier as it has beautiful Tori and Adrien Brody in it! Yes!! You heard right. Mr Brody!
Obviously back then I was still a wee child and I didn't realise how hot he was, but I'm sorry Adrien Brody. I will still marry you if you will have me. Here's the video, enjoy!

Music Of The Week - Enter Shikari
So this week, y'all might think it's a little whack but it kind of reminds me of my youthful uni days and my rather large variety of music! This week's song is called "Arguing with Thermometers" by British band, Enter Shikari.
The song is from their 2012 album A Flash Flood Of Colour and the video is a little bit jokes and kinda makes me wish sometimes they actually presented the news like this in general. You'll understand after watching this:

Inspirations: "I Want Candy"
So some of 2012's collections are pretty great and one of the trends I'm totally loving is the light and pastels.
A breath of fresh air and all the pale beauties is just too soft and sweet!
I'm a little biased here with Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer collection and I love horses and carousels, and it hits the nail on me feeling nostalgic about my childhood at theme parks, 99p flake cones (probably only us Brits will understand this) and candy floss! Which always seem to get in my hair...

R.I.P. Whitney Houston
Unfortunately, the one thing that many of us probably didn't expect to happen has happened. One of the world's most iconic female singers passed away yesterday.
Although her life has had several ups and downs...

Kickback Of The Week - Regina Spektor
This week is a kickback from the beautiful American singer/songwriter Regina Spektor. She has an amazing talent on the piano, and the song is "Us," from her album Soviet Kitsch.
P.S. If you can play this song on the piano (and you're not Ms. Spektor!), you're pretty awesome, k.

Music Of The Week - M.I.A.
I know my MOTW is a day late; sozbox. Work had a little more play at hand this week. But I'm totally making it up with a totally awesome song! Promise.
This week's song is "Bad Girls" by the amazual British singer/songwriter, M.I.A. I have to say I was a little bit dissapointed with her last album "Maya" but this reminds me of her "Kala" days and it's a definate repeat on my playlist!
Now I also want to ride on drifting cars like a superfly girl and squeeze my thighs into metallic silver pants.
